Two Tech Tools That I Couldn’t Live Without
Bob Stewart has encouraged us to share two of our favorite tech tools in the February Challenge. When I first read the post I thought, that won’t be too hard. I stand corrected because here I am the last day of the month finally meeting the challenge – much harder than I thought! There are so many amazing tools and systems available that it’s difficult to narrow it down to just two. My iPhone came to mind first but, as Bob mentioned that's just too easy. That said, I couldn't live without it but, in the interest of digging a little deeper I tried to focus on tools that allow us to operate more efficiently.
I’ll start with DialogTech – I implemented this system almost 2 years ago after the recommendation from Janice Santoni with the Joy Daniels Real Estate Group and have never looked back. DialogTech allows me to purchase phone numbers for our signs, and all of the numbers that are purchased are then able to be tracked. You can even pick what numbers you like from a list they provide you! Our agents love it because when someone calls in they know exactly which sign caused them to call and the phone numbers ring to everyone’s phone at once. It’s rare if ever a call doesn’t get answered. That’s improved our service and in turn led to more homes sold because the agents can take live calls vs. trying to track someone down. I couldn’t live without it because it also allows me to track which agent answered the call and then follow up with what took place and see if they need any help. We purchase a number (very inexpensive) to test new marketing as well. Being able to track the different numbers shows me what is working and what needs to be revamped or nixed all together.
The second tool I couldn’t live without is Docusign. I have lived the days without it and the amount of time it saves is priceless. I believe it was 2010 when I started using it. I am sure many of you already use this for electronic signatures and love it too. While it’s nothing most of us haven’t heard of I had to mention it. I know we’ve all spent hours of our lives driving to our clients homes or meeting at a coffee shopt to get signatures and this eliminates all of that. I had a seller last year who didn’t have email or a computer and each time I needed a signature I would drive to her house. That sale reminded me of how grateful I am for Docusign – it’s worth every penny. I have tried a couple other esign options and just wasn’t as pleased. Docusign is equally user friendly for the office and our clients.
Both of these tools enable us to operate more efficiently and deliver better service to our clients. It’s a win-win and that’s always a positive in my book. Thank you for the challenge Bob!
