Thankful For My Mom and Dad

Thankful For My Mom and Dad

I wouldn’t be where I am without my Mom and Dad. They have sacrificed so much to make sure I had every opportunity possible to be successful. From my Dad working 7 days a week in his business to my Mom working 7 days a week to make sure everything was taken care of at home they always set the right example and taught me to work hard. My first job was at my Dad’s animal hospital and I started out cleaning cages and feeding the animals on the weekends. I can remember riding in with him on Christmas mornings, opening presents had to wait until we got back home. My Mom instilled kindness and a work ethic in me too. We always had horses and if I wanted to ride and show that meant getting up before school to take care of them and coming home right after school to do the same. My grades had to be good or I wouldn’t have the privilege of riding. I admire them both so much, they’re a team and have built an amazing life together.

Mom and Dad

Thank you again Debbie Reynolds for this wonderful challenge.
